Grant to Whizz-Kids

The Julian Budd Kids in Sport Trust is delighted to be supporting the work of Whizz-Kidz. In November 2008 Kids in Sport agreed a £2,500 grant to purchase a lightweight sports wheelchair for a child on the charity’s waiting list.

This grant will have an immediate impact and will ensure that a disabled boy will have the opportunity to enjoy his childhood and the fun and freedom of pursuing a sport that he loves.

Whizz-Kidz is dedicated to helping disabled children and young people, to achieve independent mobility in a variety of ways, including the provision of mobility equipment such as powered, manual and sports wheelchairs and specially adapted tricycles as well as wheelchair skills training.
